“I thank you in advance for joining my team and sharing your resources of time and money with us. Together, we can break the silence. We can eliminate the stigma. We can stop the suffering. We can find a cure for sickle cell disease.” ~Ryan Clark
Ways to Get Involved
Here are just some of the ways you can be a part of Ryan Clark’s Cure League team to tackle sickle cell disease.
Donate Now to give a one-time financial contribution through our secure online payment system.
Other donation options include:
- Give monthly as a Team Partner for Hope
- Donate “in memory of” or “in honor of” of a loved one
- Make a bequest gift to support this work
You can make a one-time financial contribution now through our secure online payment system, or contact Anne Immekus at 412-647-2434 for details on these and other ways to support the Ryan Clark Cure League. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law and support research to develop new therapies for sickle cell disease and, one day, a cure. Donations also support patient programs and help increase public awareness and understanding of sickle cell disease. You will receive a written acknowledgment and tax receipt in the mail.
Give Blood — People with sickle cell disease frequently need blood transfusions to alleviate anemia and other issues caused by complications of the disorder. It’s important that we have a robust supply of all blood types on hand. African-American blood donors are particularly needed.
- Find a Central Blood Bank Donor Center in western Pennsylvania or northern West Virginia.
Raise Funds for the Cure League — Contact Anne Immekus at 412-647-2434 for information about how you can help to raise money for Cure League programs.
Participate in a Research Study or Clinical Trial — If you have sickle cell disease or trait, or know someone who does, find information about ongoing and upcoming sickle cell disease research and clinical trials.
